package. Enjoy seeing the formation of the flotilla, as it cruise
towards you, with nothing obstructing your view as you watch from the
balcony on the top floor.
At river height the Westminster
Boating Base a
riverside location offers a prime location close up to the pageantry
and is possibly the best alternative to a moored boat - with great
loo's too (don't joke we know that loo's will be of prime importance on
a day such as this)! At £460 per

The river is also sure to play a role during the London 2012 Summer Games.
Don't forget the river also plays host to some less well known, but equally enjoyable events, such as the Barge Race where watermen from throughout London compete against each other in this unusual rowing race, and the tagging of the Swans during Swan Upping week. The Thames Festival in September will take us into the Autumn before the river takes centre stage to see the New Year in on 31 December.
